In response to the popular slang, Mike Bamiloye, the televangelist clarified that in the Bible, the term “goat” refers to people who are obstinate, disobedient, headstrong, and unbelieving. The children of God are also symbolized by sheep.

In a lengthy post on his Instagram on Saturday, Bamiloye advised Christians against using the word in conversation and claimed that GOAT people have no place in God’s Kingdom.

“What does the term GOAT mean? The Devil is the one who has altered the meaning for you. The acronym GOAT stands for a headstrong, unyielding, unbelieving fellow.

“The Kingdom of God has no place for the goat people. The Bible says that while the SHEEP represents the godly, believing children of God, the GOAT represents disobedient and unbelievers. Jesus declared that He would do just that, separating the sheep from the goats and casting the obstinate, unbelievers into the lake of fire.
