Abubakar Malami- FG arraigns Tukur Mamu, ex-terrorist negotiator, on 10 counts

Mr. Tukur Mamu, a former terrorist negotiator, will be arraigned today on a 10-count charge bordering on terrorism financing, among others.

Mamu, who will be arraigned by the AGF on behalf of the FG, will be arraigned before Justice Inyang Ekwo of a Federal High Court in Abuja.

Justice Nkeonye Maha of a sister court reportedly gave the Department of State Services (DSS) permission on September 13, 2022 to detain the former terrorists’ negotiator for 60 days so that it could complete its investigation on Mamu, who led negotiations with terrorists for the release of the Abuja-Kaduna train passengers kidnapped in March 2022.

Mr. M.B. Abubakar, Director of Public Prosecution for the Federation, signed the indictment.
