The state government of Akwa Ibom has announced that it will start recruiting 10,000 teachers in the state from 18 January 2021 onwards.
The Ministry of Information & Strategy made the announcement in a statement released on Sunday.

The Udom Emmanuel Administration of Akwa Ibom State has rolled out methods for the recruitment of a thousand teachers to raise the educational expansion policy of the state government in support of the Completion Agenda.
A release signed by the President of the State Board of Secondary Education, Rt. Hon. Hon! Ekaette Ebong Okon reveals that the work application begins on January 18, 2021. In line with the specific need to avoid large meetings in accordance with Covid 19 protocols, prospective applicants are invited to apply via their official website.

Requirements For Akwa Ibom State Teachers Recruitment 2021
To be qualified for the current 2020/2021 Akwa Ibom Teachers Recruitment, you need to meet the following requirements:
West African Examination School Certificate (WASSCE) or National Examination Council Certificate with at least 5 credits in relevant subjects including English and Mathematics. (Not less than two sittings) and
Bachelor’s Degree/Higher National Diploma (HND) or Ordinary National Diploma (OND) Degree. That is B.Ed, B.A, B.Sc, B.Tech, M.Ed, M.A, M.Sc, or HND Certificate in relevant subject areas, and must have obtained a minimum of 2.2 (Second Class Lower Division),
Knowledge in computer application which will serve as an added advantage.
