APC Chairman Resigns in Northern State (Photo)
Shehu Buda, chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the Bukkuyum Local Government Area of the state of Zamfara, has left the ruling party.
EJESGIST.NG learned that Buda defected from the All Progressives Congress (APC) to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and endorsed the party’s governorship candidate, Dauda Lawal.

Buda stated that his decision to leave the ruling party ahead of the general elections in 2023 was the result of a consensus among his political allies.
The remaining members of the ruling party in his local government were appreciated.
Buda resigned from his position as Chairman of the APC in Bukkuum Local Government.
Buda’s statement regarding his resignation reads, “I am pleased to inform you that I have decided to step down from my position as chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Bukkuyum Local Government in the state of Zamfara.
“My resignation is in response to a political associate’s decision and conclusion.
“I appreciate the remaining APC members in Bukkuyum Local Government.”
