Bobrisky Sentenced to Six Months in Prison for Naira Abuse. 

 

Cross-dresser Idris Okuneye, popularly known as Bobrisky, has been sentenced to six months in jail by Justice Abimbola Awogboro of the Federal High Court in Lagos. The judgement, delivered on Friday, April 12, comes after Bobrisky pleaded guilty to the charge of naira abuse.

According to reports from The Nation, the controversial social media personality faced six counts of money laundering and abuse of naira filed against him by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on Thursday, April 4.

 

 

Bobrisky was arraigned in court on Friday, April 5, where he faced a six-count charge related to Abuse of the Naira and Money laundering. While the court dismissed the money laundering charges, Bobrisky was convicted for Naira Abuse after confessing to the crime.
