The Federal High Court in Lagos has issued an order prohibiting the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, from engaging, utilizing, or dealing further with the Chairman of the Lagos Parks and Garages, Musiliu Akinsanya, also known as MC Oluomo, in the distribution of election materials and ad-hoc staff for the upcoming elections in the state.
Justice Chukwujekwu Aneke granted the injunction in response to an application filed by the Labour Party, LP, and its candidate for governor of Lagos state, Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour.

According to information gathered by this online newspaper, INEC was absent from the proceedings.
However, a Labour Party attorney informed the court that the commission had been served with court documents.
