Pastor Sues Chef Damilola Adeparusi Over Alleged Defamatory Statement
Prophet Adegoke Jeremiah, also known as “Billion Dollars,” has initiated legal proceedings against popular chef, Damilola Adeparusi, following her recent 120-hour Cook-a-thon.
In a formal petition filed by the pastor’s legal representatives, he expressed astonishment at what he deems a defamatory statement made by the chef.
The lawsuit brought forth by Prophet Adegoke Jeremiah seeks both a public retraction of the alleged libelous statement on social media and compensation amounting to twenty million naira.

Chef Damilola Adeparusi had previously stated that her safety should be attributed to the pastor, suggesting a connection between her well-being and his actions.
Last week, the Ekiti-born chef took to her Instagram platform to reveal feelings of imminent danger, expressing that she had been living under constant fear and came perilously close to a life-threatening situation just days prior.
This legal action signifies a growing dispute between Prophet Adegoke Jeremiah and Chef Damilola Adeparusi, shedding light on the complex nature of public figures and their interactions in the digital age.
