Jackson Ude tweeted a few days ago that the APC had bribed the Appeal Court Judges to sack of Plateau State.

In a startling revelation, ex-President Goodluck Jonathan’s media aide, Jackson Ude, has come forward with claims of a secret deal involving President Bola Tinubu and the All Progressives Congress (APC). Ude alleges that a plan is in motion to exert pressure on Appeal Court Judges with the aim of unseating three Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Governors in Delta State, Plateau State, and Zamfara State.

Ude’s assertion points to a strategic move orchestrated by President Bola Tinubu, particularly those within the APC leadership. The alleged plan has ignited concerns about the potential manipulation of the judicial process to favour the APC in key states.

The controversy surrounding Nasarawa State deepens, with claims that the APC’s takeover plan is linked to a recent ruling by the election tribunal, initially resulting in the removal of the sitting APC Governor. Sources, however, suggest that this decision is expected to be overturned, thereby reinstating the APC-led administration in the state.

A significant APC figure, unnamed in Ude’s claims, is said to have issued a directive for the party to intensify its efforts in securing control over Delta, Plateau, and Nasarawa States.

Reports circulating indicate an anticipation that the courts will comply with this alleged directive, raising serious questions about the impartiality of the judicial process. Critics argue that such political interventions pose a threat to the democratic principles Nigeria seeks to uphold.

Coincidentally, within a mere 12 hours of Ude’s claims, the Appeal Court appears to have taken action. Governor Caleb Muftwang of Plateau State is reported to have been sacked, aligning with the allegations of a calculated political move.
