Terrorists stormed the homes of a community Head, Hashimu, and his younger brother, Danbalange, of Birnin Tsaba in Zamfara State’s Zurmi Local Government Area on Friday and seized them.
Danbalange, a member of the All Progressives Congress in the area, and the District Head were taken from their separate residences by terrorists on Friday around 4:30 a.m., according to a source.

According to the source, the victims were seized from their homes in the Birnin Tsaba hamlet by a squad of terrorists on motorcycles.
“The attack on the two victims was launched by a notorious terrorist leader,” the source stated. He called us and confirmed the victims’ kidnapping by his gang.”
He stated that the recent seizure by security forces of two brand new motorcycles belonging to the terrorists’ leader may have resulted in the abduction of the two victims.

He went on to say that the terrorists’ ringleader has also threatened that the two victims in his hands will face his wrath because the government was made aware of his confiscated motorcycles by security personnel.
The source stated that they are making every effort to ensure the abductees’ immediate release, and that they have begun negotiations with the kingpin on how the victims will regain their freedom.
Following the abduction of the victims, Mohammed Shehu, the state police spokesman, could not be reached by phone for comment.
