On Saturday, July 24, 2021, Esther Benyeogo was named the winner of season 3 of the international talent show The Voice Nigeria after 18 weeks of amazing performances.
She received the most votes, beating out the other top 5 artists to take home the prize package, which included a cash prize of 10 million Naira, an SUV, and a recording contract with Universal Music Group.
“I am grateful to The Voice Nigeria and my fans out there for this fantastic experience,” Esther said of her win. It has given me great pleasure to appear on your TVs each week and offer my skills on such a large stage.

“This victory means even more to me because it’s one thing to know you have a talent, but it’s another to be recognised for it.” However, I must give appreciation to God, without whom I would not be here today, as well as to my family and friends for their love, support, and prayers.
“Of course, I owe a debt of gratitude to my coach, Coach Darey, for making my time here truly gratifying and for arming me with the tools I need to give it my all.”
“Esther has shown over and over again that she is truly amazing,” said Coach Darey, who worked hard to help Esther during the competition.
“Her focus, desire, and drive to progress were all strong indicators that she had her sights set on the prize, and I couldn’t be happier with the outcome.” Certainly, all of the performers this season gave everything they had to each of their performances, but Esther stood out, and I am honoured to have been her coach.
