FG has Declared Public Holidays for Christmas and New Year Celebrations
The Federal Government of Nigeria, through the Hon. Minister of Interior, Dr. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, has declared public holidays for the upcoming Christmas and New Year celebrations.
The holidays will span Monday and Tuesday, December 25 and 26, 2023, and Monday, January 1, 2024.

Dr Tunji-Ojo extended warm felicitations to Christians and all Nigerians, both at home and in the Diaspora, on this joyous occasion. Emphasizing the significance of the season, he urged Christians to reflect on the life of Jesus Christ, drawing inspiration from his teachings of humility, service, compassion, and patience

Dr Tunji-Ojo underscored the importance of citizen vigilance, urging Nigerians to be security-conscious and report any suspicious persons or activities to the nearest security agencies.
