He went on to suggest that Wike’s motives extended beyond this immediate crisis, stating, “All Wike is after is governance; he has started preparation for the 2027 presidency. Timi Frank argued that Wike’s removal was necessary to prevent further harm to ’s government and the APC. He emphasized, “If Wike loves Tinubu and believes in his administration, let him officially join the APC and become a card-carrying party member. But he has refused to do so because he wants to destroy the APC to enable him to contest for the presidency in 2027 using the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (). He has refused to defect to APC because of his evil agenda.”

Frank’s call for action also extended to governors from various political parties, urging them to support their Rivers State counterpart, Governor Fubara. He advised Fubara to remain steadfast and resilient in the face of what he termed “the evil machinations of Wike.”
