Dismisses Reports Of Sen. Omo-Agege Expulsion

 

On Monday, the All Progressives Congress, APC disputed Deputy Senate President Ovie Omo- Agege’s dismissal from the party.

 

Recall that a letter of expulsion dated March 31 and signed by the Chairman, Ulebor Isaac on behalf of the State Executive Committee of the Delta APC said that Omo-Agege was expelled for suspected anti-party actions and other unspecified offences.

The statement states, in part, “In line with Article 21.2 (1)(II)(VII), 21.3, and 21.5(g) of the Constitution of 2022 (as amended), we unanimously agreed and ratified the expulsion of Senator Ovie Omo Agege as a party member.”

It was said that Senator Ovie Omo-outrageous Agege’s behaviour harmed the party in the just ended elections and brought disgrace and humiliation upon the APC.

Felix Morka, the APC’s Secretary of National Publicity, responded by telling media that the party does not recognise the faction’s leadership who issued the bogus expulsion.

Remember that Omo-Agege ran for governor of the state in the most recent election.

 

He was beaten by Sheriff Oborevwori of the PDP.
