President Tinubu’s Supreme Court Victory: Governors and Leaders Celebrate

State governors and leaders of the National Assembly have extended their congratulations to President Bola Tinubu following his Supreme Court victory.

The apex court dismissed cases brought forth by Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party and Peter Obi of the Labour Party, affirming Tinubu’s win in the February 25 presidential poll.

Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, hailed the verdict as a “clear validation of the mandate freely given by the people of Nigeria to President Tinubu.”

He commended the judiciary for upholding truth and urged the opposition to collaborate for the progress of the country.

Ondo State Governor, Rotimi Akeredolu, and Chairman of the South-West Governor’s Forum, described the victory as a triumph for democracy and a testament to the overwhelming support for the APC and the President by the majority of voters.

Ekiti State Governor, Mr. Biodun Oyebanji, emphasized that Tinubu’s victory represents the ultimate judicial endorsement of the APC’s landslide victory in the presidential poll.

Governor Dapo Abiodun of Ogun State hailed the verdict as a watershed moment and a source of joy for all Nigerians.

In addition, the Senate President, Godswill Akpabio, and the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Tajudeen Abbas, lauded the judgment and congratulated President Tinubu.
