Vice President Kashim Shettima, during his visit to the state, received grim updates from the chairman of Bokkos Local Government Area, Monday Kassa, who revealed that 38 communities were attacked, resulting in a death toll that has now risen to 148.

The attackers, believed to be herdsmen, not only took lives but also engaged in looting farm produce and destroying properties during the assaults.

Despite the gravity of the situation, no arrests have been made in the three days following the massacre. President Bola Ahmed has also condemned the tragic incident, directing security agencies to pursue and apprehend the perpetrators.

As the international community watches the unfolding crisis, the Hungarian President’s call for urgent action emphasizes the need for collective efforts to address the escalating violence against Christians in Nigeria.
