1. Kano State Governor, Abba Kabir Yusuf, has raised concerns over the distribution method employed by the federal government for allocating N500 billion in relief funds to small-scale industries. Through his Deputy, Aminu Abdussalam, the governor expressed dissatisfaction, stating that the distribution heavily favored Lagos State and the South-South zone, leaving other states and zones at a disadvantage.

2. A Nigerian Air Force FT-7NI trainer jet crashed in the capital of Benue State, Makurdi. The incident was confirmed by Air Commodore Edward Gabkwet, the Director of Public Relations and Information for the Nigerian Air Force, in a statement released on Friday night.

6. The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) High Court in Abuja has dismissed all corruption charges against Senator Rochas Okorocha, who previously served as the governor of Imo State. The charges were filed by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC). Presiding judge Justice Yusuf Halilu criticized the EFCC for filing the same charges in his court, despite a parallel case already filed in a Federal High Court, deeming it an abuse of the judicial process.
