Renowned Nollywood actress, Patience Ozokwor has been appointed to a top government position.
In a recent development, the Enugu State governor-elect, Peter Mbah, has inaugurated 64 individuals into his transition committee. Among the distinguished members is veteran Nollywood actress, Patience Ozokwor, who is widely known as Mama G.

On Thursday, the inauguration of the committee took place at the Old Government Lodge GRA in Enugu.
Mbah, the incoming leader of the State, expressed gratitude towards the committee for accepting the offer to serve. He conveyed his confidence in the committee’s diverse composition of technocrats, financial and management experts, entrepreneurs, transparency and accountability advocates, as well as tech and innovation specialists.

Mbah believes that the committee’s vast ideas and expertise will be instrumental in developing a comprehensive policy and action plan for his administration.

According to him, the people of Ndi Enugu selected their team based on their confidence in their ability to lead them towards progress, expansion, and excellence. The individual implored the committee to establish a concrete plan of action that can be verified to ensure progress towards their goal.
Sharing the inauguration photos in a post on her Instagram page, Patience Ozokwor wrote, “For the love of Enugu State, for the love of my people I will serve faithfully. Thank you @pnmbah, I pray that all the great plans you have for our people will succeed.
