Passing of Community Leader: Pa Joseph Omowaye Alo Remembered.
The Alo family of Odo-Agbe in Ido-Ekiti, Ido-Osi council of Ekiti State, has announced the peaceful passing of their patriarch, Pa Joseph Omowaye Alo. Born on February 22, 1940, Pa Alo peacefully departed on August 7 after a period of illness. He was 83 years old at the time of his passing.
The late Pa Alo was not only a father to his children, including Prophet Sam Alo, but also a revered community leader known for his contributions to the welfare and harmony of the Ido community.

He was affectionately called “Olopa ibile,” a local term that recognizes his dedication to maintaining peace and security within the community.
A devoted Christian, Pa Alo was an active member of St. Benedict’s Catholic Church in Ido-Ekiti. He faithfully served as an usher, contributing his time and energy to the church community.
Survived by his wife, Grace, and their children, Pa Alo’s presence in the community and his loving role within his family will be deeply missed. As a dedicated leader, his legacy of promoting peace and security in Ido will continue to resonate.
