Zamfara PDP Chairman, Sani Kaura Slumps, Dies At Peace Accord Meeting For 2023 Elections
Ahmad Sani Kaura, who served as Chairman of the People’s Democratic Party in Zamfara State, has passed away.

The chairman of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) fainted on Wednesday in Gusau, the capital of Zamfara State, during a meeting to discuss a peace pact with the Zamfara State Council of Ulama in advance of the general elections in the following year.
According to Aminu Umar, a prominent member of the party in the state who confirmed Kaura’s death, Kaura had been ill and had not fully recovered before attending the meetings.

It had been less than two months since Kaura had been chosen as the Chairman of the PDP in Zamfara when this news broke.

In September 2022, the Zamfara State chapter of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) swore in Kaura and his Deputy to lead the party’s operations for the subsequent three years.
