President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has officially confirmed the appointment of Adewale Adeniyi (MFR) as the Comptroller-General (CG) of the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS). Adeniyi had been serving as the Acting CG of the NCS prior to this confirmation.

The appointment was made effective as of October 19, 2023, in accordance with the existing provisions of the Public Service Rules.
