Soludo sternly warns Anambra electorate

 

Governor Charles Soludo of Anambra State has threatened his constituents if they do not vote exclusively for the candidates of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, he will ignore them.

In a video circulating on social media, Soludo is heard telling constituents of Igbo-Uwku/Aguata 2 State constituency that if they vote for a candidate from a party other than APGA, he will only pay him salaries.

Additionally, the governor stated that only his friend from the same political party would have access to him.

 

“Everyone I work with must be an APGA member. If you vote for another candidate and he wins and comes to Awka, you can rest assured that he will only be collecting a salary. If he receives his pay, he will return home.

Nobody in the House of Representatives builds roads; he does not construct hospitals or schools due to a lack of funds. I, as governor, am the only one who can accomplish all of these tasks. And only those who are both my friend and a member of the same political party will have access to me. Only such a person is capable of advising me on the necessary tasks.

“Yes, that should be the case. Only my phone will be answered when he calls and listens. If you bring another individual from another party, we will only pay him salary. And he should be warned never to approach me with a request to assist his people. He should not dare,” said Soludo.
