FCT Minister Nyesom Wike Commits to Supporting Tinubu’s Potential Second Term

FCT Minister Nyesom Wike has affirmed that if President Bola Tinubu seeks a second term after his current tenure, he would cast his vote in his favor.

Wike made this declaration while hosting members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) on October 26, shortly after the Supreme Court validated President Tinubu’s victory.

Wike emphasized that he has no reservations about backing President Tinubu in the previous general election, as his aim was to promote fairness and justice.

He maintained that he owes no one an apology for standing firmly with Tinubu, asserting his commitment to inclusivity and non-discrimination based on religion, ethnicity, or political affiliations.

He stated, “Mr. President, having emerged, is not the President of APC. He is the President of Nigeria. While he is governing Nigeria, he must also take care of the interests of his political party, no one can argue that. It is natural.”
