Worshipper slumps, dies during prayer.
A somber incident unfolded at the Ibafo area of Ogun State when a female worshipper, identified as Bisi Adewumi from the Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries, reportedly collapsed during a prayer session in the church auditorium.

The Ogun State Police Command confirmed that the 75-year-old woman, Bisi Adewumi, who fell during the prayer session, later succumbed to her condition while receiving medical treatment at a government hospital in Sagamu.

According to the police report, the incident was promptly reported to its Ibafo division by Pastor Ekikere Esiere, the Head of Security at the prayer city situated along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway. The report indicated that the worshipper collapsed at approximately 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
In response to the distress call, the deceased was rushed to the church clinic for immediate medical attention. Subsequently, she was referred to the Sagamu General Hospital, where, regrettably, she was pronounced dead while undergoing treatment on Friday.

As the investigation into this tragic incident continues, the State Police Public Relations Officer, Omolola Odutola, has disclosed that the deceased’s body has been deposited at the hospital morgue. She further noted that no relatives of the deceased have claimed the body as of now.
This unfortunate occurrence has cast a shadow of sorrow over the congregation and serves as a stark reminder of the unpredictable nature of life.
