In a distressing development, unknown gunmen have abducted Joshua Rogers, a well-known reporter for ChannelsTV based in Port Harcourt, the capital city of Rivers State.
Reports indicate that Rogers was seized near his residence in Rumuosi, Port Harcourt, at approximately 9pm on Thursday, April 11.

The assailants, armed and unidentified, intercepted him while he was driving his official ChannelsTV-branded vehicle, forcibly taking him to an undisclosed location.
Prior to his abduction, Rogers had been returning from an official assignment at the Government House, following a trip to Andoni for a government-related event.
