Edo Deputy Governor Philip Shaibu Declares He Will Win Obaseki’s Candidate in 2024 Gubernatorial Election

Edo State’s Deputy Governor, , has emphatically stated his commitment to triumph over Governor Godwin Obaseki’s chosen candidate in the upcoming gubernatorial election slated for next year.

Shaibu conveyed this determination during a Monday evening appearance on a TVC program, asserting that the support of the people was behind him, undeterred by Obaseki’s efforts to influence the electorate.

Despite acknowledging the challenges posed by Obaseki and his allies, Shaibu remained steadfast, stating, “When I said I was pressed, but not distressed, I understand the kind of intimidation and oppression I have gone through.”
