Oloyede cautioned that individuals caught cheating during the exams would face arrest, emphasizing the board’s enhanced technological measures to detect and prevent examination malpractice. Speaking after inspecting the Kaduna State University (KASU) CBT Centre, he emphasized the consequences of cheating and urged candidates to uphold integrity in the examination process.

Furthermore, Oloyede addressed the issue of candidates missing the exam, stressing that JAMB cannot accommodate candidates who miss their scheduled exams due to personal reasons unrelated to the examination body. He warned against relying on schools or third parties for exam registration and reiterated that JAMB is not responsible for logistical challenges faced by candidates.

Regarding the need for a mega CBT Centre in Lagos, Oloyede emphasized the importance of support from highly populated states like Lagos to establish such facilities. He expressed the board’s readiness to construct mega CBT centers with state government support, citing the success of similar centers in Kaduna. Oloyede urged Lagos authorities to provide suitable land for the construction of such centers, underscoring their significance in addressing examination challenges efficiently.

In summary, JAMB remains committed to ensuring the integrity of the UTME process while advocating for enhanced infrastructure to accommodate the growing number of candidates across the country.
