Anglican Pastor, Wife, and Children Abducted in Delta State
A deeply distressing incident unfolded on Friday when armed assailants kidnapped an Anglican pastor, Rev. Agbadamashi Emmanuel, alongside his wife and children.
The abduction occurred along the East-West road near the Evwreni junction, while the family was en route from Ughelli to the Uwheru community in Ughelli North Local Government Area of Delta State.
Reports indicate that the armed abductors suddenly intercepted the family, forcefully leading them into the nearby bush.

The news of this shocking incident was confirmed by the Public Relations Officer of the Anglican Communion, Ughelli Diocese, Hon. Justice Iyasere, in Warri on Monday morning.
As of the time of this report, the abducted pastor, his wife, and children remain in captivity.
Although the Public Relations Officer could not confirm if the kidnappers had made any ransom demand, the community and authorities are deeply concerned for the well-being of the family.
Efforts have been made to gather information on the situation from the Divisional Police Officer, and further updates are anticipated from the Police Public Relations Officer for the Delta State Command, DSP Bright Edafe.
