Ango Abdullahi has said that he is waiting for El-Rufai to deliver votes for Tinubu in the North like he claimed. Speaking further, Abdullahi said El-Rufai is who?
In reaction to Governor Nasir El- Rufai’s assertion declaration that the entire northern region would support Chief Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress (APC), an elder statesman, Ango Abdullahi has expressed his disapproval and asserted that El-Rufai’s claim will not offer Tinubu votes.
In response to being informed that Tinubu has a higher chance of winning the most votes in the North because of the APC governors, Ango Abdullahi expressed his disapproval and asserted that this will not offer Tinubu votes.
He said:
“Do you believe that the governors will favourr Tinubu because APC has more states in the North than any other party? So, let’s wait and see whether they can. Every APC governor in the North has one vote, just like every other voter. Do you really believe that APC governors will get on the phone and inform voters where they will cast their ballots?”

Ango reacted to Nasir El-assertion Rufai’s that the North would support Tinubu by saying Nigerians would have to wait and watch what transpired.
He stated:
“I’m waiting for El-Rufai to do what he promised and deliver votes to Tinubu in the North. He is who? What person is that? Let’s wait until he delivers the votes at the location he desires. What I do know is that ultimately, it will be the voters who cast the votes.”
He added,
“That is how I feel. The votes will not be cast by the governors. It will be decided who has won and who has lost based on the votes cast, which will be counted.”
