Veteran Nollywood actor and spokesperson for the Labour Party Presidential Campaign, Dr. Kenneth Okonkwo, has strongly criticized President Bola Tinubu’s administration, warning of looming anarchy in Nigeria due to the manner in which the country is being governed.

In an interview on Mic On Podcast with Seun Okinbaloye, Okonkwo expressed his dismay, initially believing that former President Muhammadu Buhari’s eight-year administration was the worst Nigeria had experienced. However, he now asserts that Tinubu’s government has surpassed Buhari’s tenure in just nine months.

Okonkwo highlighted his concerns regarding President Tinubu’s prioritization of his children over ministers of the Federal Republic of Nigeria in official protocol. He criticized the concentration of appointments within Tinubu’s government, particularly focusing on individuals associated with Lagos’s political sphere, characterized by what he described as “Jagabanic” prodigies influenced by “Emilokon” philosophies.

“Anarchy looms in Nigeria,” Okonkwo remarked, emphasizing the stark contrast between governing Lagos and the complexities of managing the entire nation. He cautioned against arbitrary decrees, stressing the need for governance that addresses the diverse challenges faced by Nigeria.

You don’t compare gold with carrots,” Kenneth Okonkwo asserted, highlighting the disparity in governance standards between the federal and state levels. He condemned the practice of placing personal interests above national priorities and expressed concern over the erosion of institutional integrity within the government.
