Nigerian Air Force Speaks on Bombing Kaduna Village


The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has vehemently refuted allegations of conducting air operations resulting in the unintended killing of villagers in Kaduna state.

Air Commodore Edward Gabkwet, the spokesperson for NAF, issued a statement characterizing the reports as misinformation.

In unequivocal terms, the Nigerian Air Force denied any participation in air operations within Kaduna state and its surroundings in the preceding 24 hours. The official statement emphasized that the news circulating, claiming accidentally caused harm to innocent civilians, is baseless.

It clarified that the NAF has not executed any air operations in Kaduna State during the specified timeframe.

Furthermore, the statement highlighted that the NAF is not the sole entity utilizing combat armed drones in the Northwestern region of Nigeria.

This denial by the NAF comes amidst heightened concerns and calls for transparency in the wake of reported incidents.
