Job Title: Assistant Technician
Locations: Lagos and Ogun
Employment Type: Full-time
Job Description: As an Assistant Technician, you will play a crucial role in the smooth operation and maintenance of our gas facilities. Your responsibilities will include:
- Supervising the recording of gas flow parameters and customer gas consumption volumes.
- Coordinating the preparation of daily gas and maintenance reports.
- Supervising installation and commissioning tasks at pressure reduction metering stations.
- Overseeing activities at compressed natural gas stations.
- Conducting routine inspections and producing reports on various Above Ground Installation equipment.
- Providing support for other utility maintenance and repair works.
Requirements:
- OND / SSCE / GCE / NECO qualification.
- 0 – 3 years of work experience.
Knowledge & Skills Required:
- Understanding of Oil and Gas Industry dynamics.
- Knowledge of gas plant and pipeline operations, including gas flow equipment and process control.
- Familiarity with health, safety, and environmental regulations and policies in the gas industry.
- Proficiency in project management.
- Strong organizational and administration skills.
- Excellent customer relationship management.
- Leadership and supervisory abilities.
- Effective team player.
- Strong oral and written communication.
- Computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
