These remarks, understandably, sent shockwaves through the city and its surroundings, prompting widespread calls for his immediate prosecution to deter potential acts of violence.

The State Commissioner for Information, Baba Halilu Dantiye, addressed the media on the outcome of the government’s meeting. He firmly emphasized that the government strongly disassociates itself from the reckless comments made by the now-sacked commissioner concerning the judges of the tribunal.

Furthermore, in a separate incident, the Special Adviser on Youth and Recreational Activities, Alhaji Yusuf Imam, made disparaging comments targeting Vice President Kashim Shettima. The government clarified that neither of these individuals had the authorization to speak on behalf of the government.

To prevent future incidents of this nature, the Kano State government has issued a directive that henceforth, no government officials are allowed to speak publicly without obtaining proper clearance from the appropriate authority. This measure is intended to ensure that all official statements and communications align with the government’s official stance and policies.

Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf’s administration is committed to maintaining peace, decorum, and respect for the rule of law within the state, and these actions aim to uphold those principles. The removal of Commissioner Adamu Aliyu Kibiya sends a clear message that the government will not tolerate any threats or violence against the judiciary or any other form of irresponsible behavior from its officials.

As Kano State moves forward, this incident serves as a reminder of the importance of responsible and respectful communication, especially in matters related to the administration of justice and governance.
