Former Nigerian Lawmaker , Senator Rafiu Ibrahim, who represented Kwara South at the National Assembly from 2015 to 2019, has passed away after a brief illness.
The sad news of his demise was confirmed by his family through a statement issued by his aide, Abdulganiyu Abdulqadir.

Another statement from Alh Wahab Oba, the former press secretary to ex-Governor Abdulfatah Ahmed, disclosed that Senator Ibrahim’s corpse would arrive at Ilorin International Airport by 12 noon. His remains will then be interred at the Muslims Cemetery in Osere, Ilorin, at 2:00 pm.
