Pastor Divorces Wife After Herbalist Died On Top Of Her During S3x Romp In Ekiti Hotel

 

Joshua Ajagunigbala and his wife, Rita Ajagunigbala, have ended their marriage.

 

In Ekiti State, a 22-year marriage ended when a herbalist died on top of the pastor’s wife during a hotel s3x romp.

 

Pastor Joshua told newsmen that his marriage to Rita was dissolved by the Ekiti State Customary Court after he filed a divorce petition alleging adultery.

During the hearing, the petitioner, Pastor Ajagunigbala, asked the court to dissolve his marriage on the grounds of adultery and to grant him custody of his children.

 

He testified to the court that he had not paid the respondent’s dowry and that they had been married for over 22 years and had children.

 

In addition, he informed the court that this was the third time he had brought her to court on the basis of adultery, stating that the respondent began an illicit affair with a deceased herbalist named Ifidayomi a.k.a. Ejiogbe in 2017.

 

He reported that the Herbalist died on top of the respondent while they were having s3xual relations in a hotel in Ikere-Ekiti on January 2, 2023, causing a commotion and leading to the destruction of his home and church in Ikere by thugs.

 

He bemoaned the fact that her actions led to his suspension by the Church’s authority and, as a result, he is no longer interested in the union. He pleaded with the court to dissolve the union and grant him custody of his children.

 

In response, Mrs. Ajagunigbala admitted to having sexual relations with the deceased herbalist. She stated that her relationship with the Herbalist was due to the petitioner’s lack of care. She indicated that she had been responsible for the children’s feeding and school fees. She claimed that the late Ejiogbe helped her pay off a substantial amount of debt.

 

During the hearing, the court ruled that their marriage was invalid due to the absence of dowry; therefore, there was no marriage to dissolve.

 

 

Mr. Joseph Oyedele, the president of the court, ruled that there was no legal customary marriage between the two parties and added that they are free to pursue separate lives.

 

He stated, “After reviewing all the oral evidence presented to this court, it was determined that there was no legal customary marriage between the parties involved, and therefore there is no marriage to dissolve.”

 

“The Court orders that the parties are now free to go their separate ways without disturbing each other’s peace.”

Because they are still minors, the court ordered the petitioner, Mr. Ajagunigbala, to assume full responsibility for the welfare and education of the union’s two youngest children.

 

“On the issue of child custody, the court can only rule on the custody of the last two children of the marriage, as they have not yet reached the age of majority. Since the first two children are no longer minors, they are free to choose between the two parties where they will reside.

 

“However, the court orders that the last two children of the association (Olarewaju and Victoria Ajagunigbala) be placed with the petitioner, who is responsible for their welfare and education.”
