The discussions revolve around the imminent vacancy created by Simon Lalong’s resignation from the ministerial position.

Sources within the presidential villa disclosed that President Tinubu’s deliberations with the two prominent figures of the All Progressives Congress (APC) are centered on identifying a suitable replacement for Lalong.
Lai Mohammed gained notoriety during his tenure as Minister of Information and Culture under ex-President Muhammadu Buhari. His decision to ban Twitter (now X) for nine months drew significant criticism, particularly from Nigerian youths on social media.
