The Chicago University certificates of Bola Tinubu, as obtained by Atiku Abubakar, the presidential candidate of the People Democratic Party (PDP), and the one submitted by Bola Tinubu to INEC, exhibit some differences.
Certificate Discrepancies:
1. Atiku Abubakar’s 1979 Chicago State University certificate bears five signatures, whereas the one Bola Ahmed Tinubu submitted to INEC has only three signatures.
2. The names of the signatories on the Chicago State University certificate obtained by Atiku Abubakar differ from those on Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s certificate presented to INEC.
3. The Chicago State University certificate obtained by Atiku Abubakar and one submitted to INEC by Bola Tinubu have different logo.
Gender Concerns:
The transcript from Chicago State University, obtained by Atiku Abubakar, raises eyebrows as it mentions ‘Bola A. Tinubu’ with a female gender indication. The transcript further reveals a social security number (SSN) registered in 1976.
Academic Records:
Interestingly, the academic records from Chicago State University show that the ‘Bola Tinubu’ who allegedly graduated in 1970 had attended Government College, Lagos, even though the college was founded in 1974. These discrepancies are now garnering significant attention and sparking debate.”
