Anambra Shootout: Unknown gunmen attack Gov Okowa’s security aides in Ihiala, kill three
Unknown gunmen operating in the South-East struck again on Friday, killing three officers from the Explosive Ordinance Device (EoD) division of the Delta State Police Command in Asaba.
The victims, who were affiliated with the Anambra State Government House, were murdered in the Ihiala Local Government Area. The officers were en route to Abia State.

They were the advance team of the People’s Democratic Party vice presidential candidate.
Inspectors Lucky Aleh, Celestine Nwadiokwu, and Jude Obuh have been identified as the three deceased police officers.
According to a source, the unidentified gunmen ambushed them around 1:30 p.m. in the Ihiala Local Government Area of Anambra State and set fire to their vehicle.
Two of the murdered police officers were confirmed to have been from Agbor, Delta state.

“Four officers were in the vehicle, but one was not wearing uniform, so he was released while the other three were killed. The commander of the Government House’s Escort unit in Asaba was tasked with transporting their bodies to a mortuary in Asaba, according to a Government House source.
Ikenga Tochukeu, the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) for the Anambra State command, confirmed the incident.
He revealed, “We received emergency calls and rushed to the scene of the incident. The Delta state command police officers who were killed were in transit at the time of the incident.
I can assure you, however, that the state police commissioner of Anambra is well prepared to apprehend the perpetrators of this heinous crime.”

It is unfortunate that Inspector Celestine Nwadiokwu paid a supreme to this unknown gun men ravaging the South East of Nigerian. My relation, why is this happening. This is not good at all what has he done to warrant this type of death? Serving his father land has caused his life. This is unfortunate. May his soul rest in peace, amen.
