The has convened an executive session to discuss the upcoming screening process for ministerial nominees. The session was called to order by Godswill Akpabio, who led the principal officers into the chambers to commence proceedings for the day.

Speculations are rife that is set to announce the ministerial list submitted to him earlier this morning, believed to be from President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.




The procession of presiding and principal officers arrived at the chambers promptly at 12.10 am. Following the opening prayer and the adoption of yesterday’s votes and proceedings, Senate Leader Opeyemi Bamidele moved the motion for the Senate to resolve into an executive session. The Minority Leader, Simon Mwadkwon, seconded the motion.
