Peter Obi, the presidential candidate for the Labour Party (), praised Ademola Adeleke, the newly-elected governor of State, for her tenacity and resiliency.

Obi said this while wishing Adeleke a prosperous and successful term as governor.

He congratulated Adeleke on his victory and appointment as State’s sixth governor.

On Sunday, Adeleke, the well-known singer Davido’s uncle, took office as governor of State.
