A distinguished alumna of the Federal Government Girls’ College in Benin City and the Federal Government College in Ilorin, Kwara State, Mrs. Walson Jack is among the first graduates of Nigeria’s Unity Schools to ascend to such a significant role within the Ministry of Education.
Boasting a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Lagos and having been called to the Nigerian Bar in 1987, she brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to her new role.

Married to Hon. Nimi Walson Jack, a former General Secretary of the Nigerian Bar Association and a prominent Civic Educator in Nigeria, the couple has raised two children who have followed in their parents’ footsteps and become lawyers.
With a track record of serving as Permanent Secretary in various government departments, including the Service Welfare Office of the Office of the Head Of Service of the Civil Service of the Federation, the Ministry of Niger Delta Affairs, and the Federal Ministries of Power, Water Resources, and Sanitation, Walson Jack has consistently demonstrated exceptional leadership and dedication.
Her outstanding performance in public service, especially since her appointment in 2017 by former President Muhammadu Buhari, speaks to her commitment to the betterment of Nigeria.
