In yet another harrowing incident, have struck another Kaduna community, sparking fear and alarm as they reportedly abducted at least 61 individuals.

This latest abduction comes just six days after the chilling kidnapping of 287 pupils at Kuriga in Chikun Local Government Area, further highlighting the grave security challenges facing the region.

According to reports, the bandits targeted Buda Hausa, a community in Kajuru Local Government Area, where they launched a brazen assault in the early hours of Tuesday. Member representing Kajuru Constituency, Hon. Usman Danlami Stingo, confirmed the distressing incident during a session at the Assembly on Tuesday.

Detailing the attack, Stingo revealed that the bandits descended upon the community between midnight and 1:00 am, catching residents unaware as they unleashed terror and chaos. Among those taken captive were 32 females and 29 males, adding to the growing toll of innocent lives affected by such heinous acts.

Despite efforts to obtain official comment on the matter, the Kaduna Police Command Public Relations Officer, ASP Mansir Hassan, remained elusive, failing to respond to enquiries from The Nation Newspaper.
